WHERE AND HOW WILL I BE
TRAINED IN ADVANCED HOLISTIC COUNSELING & COACHING™ ?
Our hybrid learning format says a lot about how important it is to us that students in our Certification program are getting a thorough and inspiring education. It’s essential that candidates know this is not a flimsy course just to get a “certificate.” We are dedicated to teaching you the AHC material in all of the ways that will make it professionally, personally, and therapeutically transformational.
Our students learn the Advanced Holistic Counseling™ model in a hybrid of learning platforms that create an in-depth learning experience:
In-Person Immersion Trainings:
There are 4 Immersive Weekends that provide hands-on, in-depth instruction and clinical practice. Students will be able to experience inspiring self-growth exercises together that will expand their personal and professional breakthroughs and transformations.
Online Live Trainings:
These bi-weekly Google Meet trainings provide ongoing support and training enable students to deepen their understanding of the self-study material, connect, and ask questions.
Self Study:
Students will be provided with the AHC written materials, audios, videos, assignments, and required reading.
Peer Counseling Practicum:
Students will be paired with their peers to provide bi-weekly Peer-Counseling sessions. This will enable them to practice the AHC tools on one another.
Direct-Client Experience:
Some Students will be given the opportunity to provide therapy to several clients that they will hold regular therapy sessions with. These students will provide treatment, diagnosis, and practice the AHC model during these sessions.
*Non-NYS students or students who do not have a graduate degree in a counseling-based program will practice the AHC skills with volunteer participants in their home state.
Clinical Supervision, Clinical Support, and Coaching Support:
New York State (NYS) Students will receive quality Clinical Supervision or Clinical Support to help them understand their own process, their countertransference, best practices and their own transformations. They will be given individual guidance and group support to make the most effective clinical interventions with their clients.
*Non-NYS students or students who do not have a graduate degree in a counseling-based program will instead receive quality Coaching Support sessions. Formal Clinical Supervision can only be provided to NYS counselors/therapists.
Advanced Holistic Counseling™ & Coaching Certification Exam & Certificate:
Students who have completed all of their assignments, held the standards of an Advanced Holistic Counselor & Coach, and passed the final exam,
Students with a Graduate Degree in the Counseling or Therapy-Based education will receive a Certification in Advanced Holistic Counseling & Coaching, or “CAHCC” as a Certified Advanced Holistic Counselor.
Students who do not have a Graduate Degree in a Counseling or Therapy-based education will receive a Certification in Advanced Holistic Coaching™ or “CAHC” as a Certified Advanced Holistic Coach.
